Seeking passionate team players for an entrepreneurial venture (see below) Duties include marketing of the organization through social media, press, and print materials. This is a unique opportunity to explore and make connections throughout Madison and Wisconsin, working with a variety community partners and businesses while gaining first-hand knowledge and experience on how to run a business in real time.

Seeking passionate team players for an entrepreneurial venture (see below) Duties include marketing of the organization through social media, press, and print materials. This is a unique opportunity to explore and make connections throughout Madison and Wisconsin, working with a variety community partners and businesses while gaining first-hand knowledge and experience on how to run a business in real time.

Responsibilities

Attend weekly virtual 1-2 hour meetings with other Doyenne interns and staff

• Attend 1.5 hours monthly Team Meeting

• Attend 2 hour quarterly Doyenne All Committee Meetings

• Assist office personnel with a variety of day to day tasks

• Develop a social media marketing strategy for the organization

• Send Press Releases to press contacts

•Manage Social Media presence for the organization
 

Requirements

• Must be at least sophomore standing at an accredited college or university
• Background in social media and best practices
• Prior work experience

• Time management and remote working skills
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written

• Highly detail-oriented and great multi-tasking abilities
• Entrepreneurship coursework a plus
• Knowledge of Hootsuite, Google Drive, Asana, and Canva a plus but not required

Our programming and strategic partnerships with other organizations in Madison and Wisconsin we are blazing the trail to make Madison one of the best cities in the country for women entrepreneurs. The position would start ASAP and go through the end of December with the possibility of extending the position into the Spring Semester.
