This is a unique opportunity to explore and make connections throughout Madison and Wisconsin, working with a variety community partners and businesses while gaining first-hand knowledge and experience on how to run a business in real time.
Responsibilities
Attend weekly virtual 1-2 hour meetings with other Doyenne interns and staff
• Attend 1.5 hours monthly Team Meeting
• Attend 2 hour quarterly Doyenne All Committee Meetings
• Assist office personnel with a variety of day to day tasks
• Develop a social media marketing strategy for the organization
• Send Press Releases to press contacts
•Manage Social Media presence for the organization
Requirements
• Must be at least sophomore standing at an accredited college or university
• Background in social media and best practices
• Prior work experience
• Time management and remote working skills
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
• Highly detail-oriented and great multi-tasking abilities
• Entrepreneurship coursework a plus
• Knowledge of Hootsuite, Google Drive, Asana, and Canva a plus but not required
